January is here. This means a new year, a brand new set of resolutions to follow or not follow, and for people in the technology and Wireless MDM industry the Consumer Entertainment Show or CES 2017.
Voice Recognition and AI
CES is speculated to host and field many new technologies as such as proliferations in technology like improvement in Smart AI, including more robust offerings to bring Voice Recognition to the new and booming Smart Home industry. Look to tech giants like Facebook, Google, and Amazon to continue to expand their offerings help users with domestic-oriented tasks across rooms within the home.
Laptops might also make a big splash at this year’s CES. Although Gaming Laptops have been popular for a long time, this year’s CES should expect to see more Gaming Laptops that are battle, rather VR tested and approved. With VR technology being embraced by mobile device manufacturers, as well as devices like the Oculus Rift being highly developed for, we should expect Laptops to don beefier specs this CES.
The Rise of Chinese Brands
Although Chinese electronics have been a fixture in other western countries, many Chinese companies are looking to make a big splash in the Western markets. For many people, this means more technology options at every level, ranging from the novice to the power user regarding new phones, TV, and other electronic commodities. Brands like TCL are already making a footprint with the ROKU-UI based Ultra 4K televisions. We can expect to see more offerings like those of TCL and more.
More Car Based Technology (Mobile and Self-Driving)
More additions to the car on the horizon at CES. Look to car companies to continue to expand and advertise self-less driving technology. Maybe we might all get what we want at this year’s CES with the long-held rumor of Apple releasing a self-driving car. We might see more Automobile Wi-Fi devices like that of T-Mobile’s SyncUp Drive as options for clever ways to save money.
