Remember the old folk tale of Goldilocks and her struggle to find porridge that is just right? iPhone users that find themselves struggling to find the right sized iPhone for their needs may soon get a little relief. Rumors are circulating about Apple releasing a new mid-sized model.
It is rumored that a 5-inch sized phone will be released among the new iPhone 8 regular, plus and SE renditions. An unnamed supply chain within has broken the news that there might be another 5 inch model in the mix, complete with an edge to edge display and a possibly bezel-less screen that is equipped with a dual lens.
About the New iPhone
Speculators note that the key caveat is that not much will be known for certain about the exact tangibles of this new device until Apple’s second financial quarter which is usually the end of March. Many are hoping that these new iPhones will feature these radical changes, as 2016 marked the second occurrence of only minor modifications to the new iPhone releases as we saw in 2015 and 2016. Some people think that Apple’s recent conservative approach to reveals will pave the way for an epic 2017, and 3-year revamp cycle instead of every two years with their launch of full version upgrades. Many are hoping that Apple’s sales will increase significantly with iPhone with iPhone’s 10th-anniversary device being as sales previously shrunk by about 13% at the beginning of 2016.
