Have you ever wanted to make calls without your phone on your person? Customers on AT&T can now do that thanks to a recently added feature called NumberSync. NumberSync allows users to receive voice and video calls on up to five qualifying iOS or Android devices using their existing AT&T phone number.
NumberSync on iOS Devices
NumberSync is available in a variety of different Apple devices. The primary prerequisite is that your mobile phone must be an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s or an iPhone 6s Plus. Apple iPads and iPod touches that are iOS 9.3 compatible can communicate with the phones mentioned above to make calls over Wi-Fi or AT&T Mobile broadband. Apple watches running watchOS 2 and above can also make use of this service.

NumberSync also works on Android smartphones, tablets, and watches. For NumberSync to work on these devices, users will need to have an AT&T HD Voice capable smartphone and a NumberSync capable device. Like iOS devices, users will need Wi-Fi or AT&T Mobile broadband to make calls.
The following Android watches listed below are compatible with AT&T’s NumberSync:
- Samsung Gear S2
- LG Watch Urbane (2nd Edition with LTE)
